Dave Werden Video, Playing Nymphalin by Sousa

Here is my newest YouTube video. It is a lovely romance by John Philip Sousa - "Nymphalin." I did the arrangement with two published versions (both included), one for a recital setting and one with a slightly simpler piano part and shorter cadenza for a church or similar setting. The video below features the "church" version (well, we were in a church, so...)

I did the arrangement a few years ago, but this is the first chance I had to play it when there was a recorder running. I did a quick demo for Cimarron, playing with a computer-generated piano part. I didn't like how it came out, but I only had a little time to do it then. The version above is more what I had in mind. What a difference a real pianist makes!
