I was looking for a stand for my Euphonium and was wondering if anyone here had any advice or experience on a decent stand. I just want something sturdy enough to hold my horn so I don't have to have it in its case all the time.

I made one for my Conn 20k, then adapted it to my King 1240, from a sturdy potable music stand I got off Craigslist. Keeps the horn in easy reach for practice, yet it isn't under foot.

K&M is always a good choice. Hercules also.

If you want a less expensive option you might want to check out the chinese made euph/tuba stand Wessex sells. Not as nice as K&M (or as sturdy) it still would get the job done -especially for a euph. It works ok for my 185 Miraphone (slightly smaller than a 186 - which would also fit). I'm not sure I agree with Wessex's description that it would take up to a 5/4 sized tuba though. I bought it through Andy the US Wessex distributor and it was a quick and easy transaction.

I have a K&M for outdoor gigs and a Hercules in the band room and a Wessex at home.
The K&M is very well made folds small and is easy to carry along with the tuba.
The Hercules is strong large and very stable and adjustable I can also use it as a playing stand and it keeps the french horns from placing their chair legs on my bell.
The Wessex stand is fine for home use but is not as easy to transport as the K&M.
