I actually had my literal euphonium-playing sister in mind until that last part.

If anyone's at all interested in helping Bloke out here, give some thought to what he really needs. I mean, take the 10 acres of lawn? You can mow it for him for a few weeks, or you can help redesign his spread so as to relieve him permanently of that chore. Transform Blokepatch into a place where he and Mrs. Bloke can live in harmony with nature instead of a perpetual struggle of mowers and poisons and so forth against it, and I bet you'll leave with a lifetime subscription to the blokepiece line.

Honestly,
A few goats can do the job without the lessons or conversation

although a tuba playing goat might be something to see....

Geez - I hope the saving grace of Camp Runamuck is that there are alluring women to lust after at the euphonium camp on the other side of the pond.

Now that I've gotten a good look at all the deal entails, I'm, er, going to be busy. Sorry.

You know, I kind of like mowing (think Forest Gump), but Tennessee is a bit far from Minnesota and I have lived in Chattanooga for a time. As for your 10 acres of grass, I had a similar problem here. My solution was to turn it into a native prairie. You see a while back parts of Minnesota were a savanna prairie and buffalo would wander around and eat the grass. I bet if you researched naive prairie and your area (maybe contact the agriculture folks associated with UT (aka Big Orange)) you could find a way to convert the area over. It should take a bunch of Round-up and then some specific grass and flower seeds. After a couple of years you'll have native grasses, flowers and no mowing. About every 5 years or so you'll likely have to burn it, but that isn't a big deal. So, if this works, you owe me a few tuba lessons and a bloke piece or two (OK maybe just a rim and an e-mail encouraging me to practice more)......

Joe probably needs to chime in and confirm but I suspect that "full-of-crap outbuilding" may mean chicken coop in this instance.

Gee, I never took you for a "wax on-wax off" type of guy, but there probably is a "Chimbasso Kid" out there somewhere...

And the moving mower or mowing mover shouldn't underestimate the commercial potentials of opening a cruise business for the summer. After all this is a 2(two)-pier pond with its own wilderness island:

What you have here is one of those new fangled alternative energy powered lawn mowing machines that run on methane gas - provided entirely by the driver.
These do require that the driver be a certified BAT-P (Big *** Tuba Player) in order to provide sufficient fuel. I'm afraid it will be a challenge finding any potential summer blokcamp attendee (cough...cough...indentured servant) who will come even remotely close to matching Joe's prodigious production.
