MRP CC

Post by TubaZac2012 »

I have a lot of questions about the new MRP CC, and since I wasn't able to make ITEC, I'd like to know some feedback on this horn. How it compares to the other heavy hitters out there, like the Holtons, Yorks, Nirchls, PT6/PT6P, PT7P, Thor, Baer, Gronitz, etc. I'm going to be in the market in the next year or so for a new CC tuba, and I have a pretty good handle on what I like, and don't like, but I've never tried one of these out, that's why I'm asking you these questions.

So I'm asking the Tubenet community, how does the this new horn compare to the other great horns out there. Any feedback would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,
Zac

Well how 'bout that? I typically ignore B&S, but guess I should at least educate myself. Whoops.

I did find it interesting the list started with Holton and York, for a "new" tuba. What's up with the Willson?

Heavy hitters and no Alexander or Rudy Meinl? :tuba:
I've never played an Alex, and I have only played one Rudy 5/4, belonging to Bloke. That's why I didn't post about those two.
