A lot of great things already happening- congrats!

Phrasing is the key- think about where the musical line is headed so that the ends of phrases don't come as an "after thought".
Kind of like shooting a basketball- you know where the hoop is and then figure out your shot rather then just throwing it up in the air (hopefully  ).

We all learn in different ways (visually, aurally, or through movement)- try singing it and conducting it and see how well you can communicate it. At the very least you will learn some valuable skill sets.

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it.

I will focus on identifying and executing phrase in my practice sessions.

I agree with the previous posters - you are off to a good start, strive for a good, relaxed, good tone, and make music (as compared to getting/playing the note). Keep up the good work.
