Cerveny Import History

For folks interested in the history of the many Cerveny instruments imported into the U.S. by Louis Vitak, I've been able to follow Vitak from Ohio to two locations in Chicago but I lost track of any information after about 1905. This link to a letter written by Lawrence G. Musielak supplies some information on later dates. http://vitak-elsnic.com/music/history/l ... ak-letter/
Louis Vitak joined forces with Emil Elsnic as Vitak-Elsnic and I have seen one BBb Cerveny with a Vitak-Elsnic badge. They continued to import instruments under that name until 1929. I don't know the date when the badge changed from Louis Vitak to Vitak-Elsnic.
With the Stock Market crash of 1929, I would be surprised if there were many imports after that date but will continue looking for more information.
