Anyone know where I can get my hands on a leadpipe for a B&S PT-6P (3198)? Thanks for the help!

If you pm me I can get one for you. I wouldn't put any chinese part on my horn. You get what you pay for.

I had a lead pipe I got from Tom put on a B&S horn, as bloke suggested to me some time back and is now suggesting to you. Seamless. Don't let the chicken littles scare you.

"You get what you pay for" couldn't be more right. So do you want to pay for a lead pipe, or a lead pipe + whatever else they're charging for?

Call Tom. You will not be sorry.

Many many years ago I thought I wanted a new leadpipe on my rotary PT6. I called up Custom and they sourced the part from the factory and shipped it to me.

I later decided that after running a few dent balls through my original pipe I made my horn better than factory and didn't have a need for the pipe after all. I keep the pipe in a safe place in case a horn ever needs it. I've also pondered the possibility of bending a new pipe for a top entry into the valve section to make my 6 a bit more like a Neptune.

The replacement pipe came as straight with NO filler for bending. If you have plans to put a new pipe on your horn I would find someone with experienced in bending pipes to do the work.

Good luck and let us know what you learn. :)
