One more to add for Rod Mathews (one T in Mathews...)

San Luis Obispo Symphony. November, 2017. Nirschl 6/4 York CC Tuba and a Yamaha 822S F Tuba.

I think I played a Meinl-Weston 45S F Tuba in the Sacramento Symphony audition in 1991. Didn’t see that one listed.

Interesting list.

What about PT-10 vs PT-10p?

OK... Here's one:

I was hired by the Beale Street Stutters (c. 30 services per year...unless something better-paying comes up...cumulative to date: c. 170 services) playing no tuba during the hiring process, though I believe I did utter "I guess so" in the preliminary/semifinal/final telephone interview. During my "probationary period", I played a Reynolds Eb sousaphone. Once I was tenured into the jazz orchestra, I moved up to a 6/4 Besson bell-front compensating Eb tuba. The first-and-last trombone player describes it as "really something", and has additionally remarked that - when he is positioned directly in front of it, it is (what was his expression...oh...yeah...!) "too damn loud". He may (??) be considering a lawsuit against the cruise line, as I've also heard him utter something about "a pain in the neck".

I'm not eligible for "cartage", because (see picture, above) I never bring my lead-sheets folder, nor a groovy collapsible stand.)

...oh and (Mr. Three Valves) there is one of these (as mentioned elsewhere) in the lounges of each of the three (absolutely identical, head-to-toe) five-decks sternwheelers:

Mock me if you must, but I've perused myriad less-truthful résumés.

EDIT: I would just like to add (per the probationary period photo, above) that I am not a catholiphobe (even though the current pope seems to be...??). They just ran out of Mardi Gras beads.

If this is to be the "official" list, the I would like to officially request that you officially get my official name correct.

Officially yours,
