Cleaning a Conn 20K with Satin Finish

Hello,
My high school recently purchased new Conn 20Ks. Our section uses a cloth diaper to remove fingerprints and smudges from the front of the bells, but we have yet to find a totally safe way to clean the satin finish. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
