I was wondering if there were players out there who have had any luck in finding a great mouthpiece for a travel Eb/F tuba or micro tuba. I have heard the Bobo Solo is a good fit for some. Just looking for a recommendation.

Thanks,

Adam

I should probably clarify, I am looking for a mouthpiece that aids in the slotting of notes on the horn or doesn't effect pitch as much etc. I am aware that you could use any MP you can shove in the lead pipe. If any one has one of these horns if you wouldn't mind sharing what MP you use that would be helpful.

Wedge SJ solo works fantastic for me.

Travel with a small Eb or F? Kelly 25. If it comes dislodged during travel, it won't bang up the tuba. It has a deeper cup than its conventional 25 counterpart, but not so deep as to cause intonation or response issues on an Eb or F. Like the 18 and the Kellyberg, it has good tone and intonation.
