Hey all,

I'm curious as to how many King Monster Eb's there are. I know of lots of Conns, but none of the old Kings!

So post yours if you got em.

Here's Mine:

After I unboxed it:

When I got it it was listed on Ebay as a Baritone, and had a few blurry small pictures to go with it. I made the gamble and won! The original third valve had been torn in half, but after the fabrication of a new one, and having them all plated, this has been the best money I have ever spent. By far this is the best Monster Eb I've ever played, and stands alone in a 60+ person concert band. It is also an amazing Dixieland horn, and with that 20" bell it sure has a presence.

Great find and rescue! I've only seen top action monster Kings. I missed one on ebay that went a little over $500 about 3 months ago. I love the old Ebs. I have a little Pan American 1941 easiest to play tuba I've ever encountered! Also have a Conn sousa 1952 and a Conn 19J 1918 both of these horns sound beautiful but require alot of attention to play in tune. Where are you located I'd enjoy hearing the horn.
