Looking for etude/method books for bass tuba

Post by thetubawizard »

Does anyone have suggestions of etude or method books I could play on F tuba? I have the main books that I do mostly on my CC such as bordogni, Blaz, Koprach, Gallay, Vasliev, Arban, and Gregoriev (sorry about spelling) but I can't seem to find much for high horn. I've heard there is a Koprach Op.5 for high horn but I haven't been able to locate it...

Thanks,
Nick

If you're interested in the Kopprasch high horn etudes that were transcribed for tuba by Jerry Young, you can find it here:

I'm sure there are other method books for bass tuba that exist, but this was the first one that popped up in my head. Happy hunting!

Find trombone books. Play tuba books up an octave. Or 2.

Bach Cello Sonatas are great at pitch too. You can never go wrong playing Bach.

Try these. The 3rd volume can get pretty hard...
