Venting rotors?

My piston F tuba's 1st and 4th valves are vented so I can pull the slides when needed. I'm looking at getting a rotary CC and was wondering if it's possible to vent rotors also? I know I haven't played a CC that I didn't need to pull and push on my first slide and I hate that popping noise. Is this possible?

Quite possible. In fact, much easier than pistons. Bloke talked me through it at ITEC, and I've done three sets since then. The first set was a bit of a learning experience, and I ended up soldering a couple of holes closed when I drilled them too high and had to redo them a 16th or so lower on the casing. Venting the second and third rotary horns went off without the slightest problem. Very doable.
