Assuming you are asking about a St Pete 201\202 tuba... the height is 37 3\4".

No problem. I just happen to have one in the shop waiting for me to install a brand new valve section and a fifth rotor.

Miraphone 186 is about 39 1/2" (the bell is crumpled so it's kinda hard to tell exactly!)

Meinl 20 is 42 1/2"

B & S/VMI 101 'Symphonic' stencil is 43 1/2"

No Yammies or Bessons here right now.

- Rest a level across the bell flare.
- Set the bottom bow on the floor.
- With a tape measure or meter stick, measure from the floor up to the level.
- Putting a level on the meter stick offers an even more reliable measurement.
Heck, Joe.... I just used one of those Harbor Freight tape measures! :D
