Miraphone M7050 Ambassador EEb 4 Piston probs

Hi.
My first post.
Has anyone encountered issues with the valves on the Miraphone M7050 Ambassador purchased around 2011 ?
Main issues we have are intermittent sticking.
All the players are of a very high, professional standard so the question of technique shouldn't be brought into the equation.
Lapping has been suggested but surely this would effect the compression ?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Hi.
I am not complaining, it is mearly research to find if any other musicians had found this problem with this particular model.

Ah......I will leave that man to do what he has to do (saves me a job) and I will keep an eye on the thread. Cheers for pointing me in a different direction.

Hello,
I am sorry to read about the valve problems you were experiencing with the Miraphone Eb tuba model M7050. I don't know if this is the same case that Jonathan Gawn has mentioned on a different post, but of course we would love to be able to address this issue directly.
Please contact me under my email address at

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon,

Playing on an Ambassador, I can say that the tolerances are not as 'forgiven' as many other horns.
Needs to be clean and use a good oil (that not vapors too quick)
One of my Miraphones came with a bottle of Fast oil (if my memory serves me right), an oil that only causes trouble for me
