I've played a Griego trombone mouthpiece for awhile now, and think that the design is superb. I just discovered that he now sells a line of tuba mouthpieces as well. Has anyone tried these yet?

From my brief look at their website it looks like the mouthpieces are rather small in comparison to some of the more popular styles and designs. To me it looked like a $150 Bach 24, but I could be wrong.

There seem to be two different depths for each of three different diameters, yielding an initial 6 models listed with the smallest first. FWIW, the diameters are roughly similar to the Bach 22, 18, and 12 respectively. I am very impressed with their bass trombone mouthpieces and would be interested in blowing on one of these should it pass my way. The tuba mouthpieces seem to follow the profile of the Deco trombone mouthpieces which are heavier than many stock pieces, but not too heavy. The rim contour of the Griego's also makes them feel slightly larger than they actually are.
