Army conference clinics-recording

is it possible/legal to record to cd the clinics and recitals from the army conference?have lots of time behind the wheel when i could be learning something..... any tech guys with ideas out there?would be more than happy to pay for these if necessary.....anybody out there have good stuff they listen to other than just music? any ideas welcome.........
