Yes. You can get valve caps for the 642 (top or bottom) from any authorized Yamaha dealer. I got a set of 3 bottom valve caps for a 642 a few years ago. If I remember right they were $8 apiece.

The valve caps at the bottom. You have the ones up top where you can take out the valve and the ones on the bottom. There there, you just never really mess with them. :wink: It's not a stupid question. There are no stupid questions...just stupid people who happen to speak. :lol:

Oh! You mean the "Finger buttons". The part your finger uses to push down the valve....

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can get those too. Not sure of the price. They screw into the 'valve stem' fairly easily.

I recommend you try to get used to the buttons on the 642 first. I saw the same picture of the horn you're talking about, and the shading makes them look smaller than they really are. They're a little smaller than the 642 ones, but not that much. The reason you should try to use the ones that come on the horn are because a different cap may change how far the valve can go down, slightly changing the bore, and also since the caps are a little smaller and lighter on the 642, it should make finger work a little easier.
