Kalison Repair - Near the Tennessee Border

Hello all,
I apologize for the somewhat confusing title. I own a Kalison Kabs77 (if you know any history on 77 let me know too, just interested in that too!) and the screw that attaches the lead pipe to the front of the horn, not the screw near the mouthpiece receiver, "broke". I took it to a local repair shop to get it out. When I got the horn back the old screw was gone and there was a new screw... I got it home and the tuba started rattling and I found out that the screw was literally just put in the hole and was not actually being used as a fastener. I ordered replacement screws from the tuba exchange (which they were good), but I believe the thread is now stripped during the removal of the screw... I know that there are threading machines that can be used to fit a certain screw size.... sorry for the ramble, but I just giving some history. I am just curious if anyone could recommend someone to alleviate this problem that is in my area (north North Carolina, east Tennessee, very western part of Virginia). I am just really irritated with the last time it was supposed to get fixed... thanks in advance!
