Anyone have any recommended drills or tips on how to get better note dexterity when playing tuba?

I find the lower the instrument i go the harder it is to keep the notes clean.

Me trying my hand my new tuba. i still suck.

Chris Okla has posted quite a few drills on youtube (youtuba? :tuba: )

You might find that a few of them (or all of them) work for you.

Slow and steady wins the race; play your best phrases from the video an octave lower, as slow as you need. Security will come as you get used to it.

EDIT: I feel a good bit of the lack of clarity later in the video comes from a breakdown in posture, esp. moving head and crunching torso to see slide, music, camera.
