Thanks for the great review. I have been thinking about trying one of these for my Rudy. Are the straps sewed on or riveted? Just curious how secure they are if you need to carry it on your back as opposed to wheeling it.

Thank You Mark. will check it out. I now use a converted golf cart, with a Altieri open top gig bag, strapped on the cart. The big wheels handle any terrain and steps if you go slow. The rig takes up a lot of room in the car tho.

How is the weight when you wear it as a back pack?

I had one for my bass trombone. It was nice because I did not have to lay it down and on concerts I could hang my coat on it. I was in a community college band and it was great to just pull it especially since we had construction detours.

I have one question no one has yet answered: when you wheel I, is it stable? That is, does it tend to wobble/fall over when pushing and/or when pulling it? I know of some cases which are nearly impossible to control when wheeling them.
