Did you ask him for suggestions? Did you ask him why he made that suggestion?

Only you can define comfort. You don't tell us what you are using now, or why you might think it's uncomfortable, so how can we make suggestions? And nobody here is going to want to put words in Don Harry's mouth.

The conventional wisdom is that you should choose a mouthpiece based on the sound you get from it, rathern than based on comfort. I'd be curious to know more about the context in which Don Harry made the suggestion.

Any Mouthpieces that work well with the 1291?
Laskey 30G with Euro Shank
this seems to be an excellent match to the 1291 for many

This will not be a drastic change but will be slightly less flat and have less of the "occasionaly" painful "bite" in the rim of the Conn Helleberg. This is probably where the "more comfortable" comment came into play.
