Speaking of Ray Draper, I wonder if Howard Johnson knew him since they were both coming up at the same time.I never read anything where Howard mention him,also it must of really bug Howard that Ray got a record deal and howard didn't for some 35 years before the 1st Gravity record came out.

Howard definitely knew Ray. I saw 'em in the same room. Howard also played at Ray's funeral.

I transcribed under Paris skies last year. Super difficult, great exercise for the ear. Slow downer was my friend
