No scam, but all you'll get in return for the $200 is a nice shiny garden ornament.

I wonder if that odd 4th valve is intended as a trill key...

Not too unusual, actually. I've seen both euphs and tubas set up like that (you are referring to the loop in the leadpipe, right?). Think I read somewhere that that's where the main tuning slide is on those horns ... :)

They do it this way to save on ebay fees.....ebay doesnt charge a % of the shipping but do charge a % of the sale price.
