Re: Bobo version of Bach cello suites?
I don't think that Bobo published the cello suites. However, Gordon Cherry told me that Bobo really liked the Ralph Sauer transcriptions of the suites. You can buy them through Cherry (http://www.cherry-classics.com) or from Brian Frederiksen (http://www.windsongpress.com).TubaSkeep wrote:I had heard that Roger Bobo published the Bach Cello Suites for tuba. I was wondering if they were still in print and if I could buy them or if I was even told right?

Actually, you can get parts of them from Doug Yeo's site. The Sauer CD is complete and it is specifically transcribed for tuba.Wilco wrote:Or get them for free at www.yeodoug.com Doug Yeo Basstrombonist of the Boston Symphony
Yeo's site is a good start though and he gives some good advice on the suites.
