That link is to my old Alex F. I was told it was a WW I era Alex that was owned by Joe Novotny at some point. It had 4 valves when I purchased it and it sported the clockspring linkage. I have a good feeling that it's the same model as yours.

I ordered all of the parts from Alexander and had a local repairman do the work. Having played the horn as a 4-valve model rather extensively before the conversion, I can honestly say it was a major improvement to this particular Alex.

I would love to have that horn back in my possession again. Tex, do you still have it??
