Cute horn dorn

Post by bisontuba »

Hi-
I realize this is not a tuba, but very cute--just back from restoration is my French Bb upright soprano saxhorn with 3 Perinet valves, brass. Plays incredible. Name on bell is a retailer's/store name--probably made by Jacques Courtierer in Lyon, 2nd half 19th C. -another addition to the collection-FYI-mark

I refer to it as 'the good clef' (bass) and the 'troubled clef' (treble)...
