Is there anyone out there who owns a Schiller Elite V silver/gold euphonium? Could you give me some feedback on it?

If this is the copy of the besson prestige then its a great euph. The only issue is they are no longer going to be able to carry it as wisemann is not selling it to them anymore. If they have any stock then grab it.

Dave Werden has a Euphonium forum. It has lots of euphonium info. Here is a thread about the Schiller:

Tom:
I currently have a MW 751s euphonium with all the idiosyncracies. Is the Elite V a good choice to replace it have less invested? Thanks

If Wisemann are no longer supplying finished horns to Jim Laabs, it may mean that Laabs will no longer be able to obtain spare parts from Wisemann either, which would affect Laabs' ability to provide warranty service. While that may not mattter for "consumables" (felts, springs, waterkey corks, etc.), which are more-or-less interchangeable between mfgs/brands, it may be an issue for parts like tuning slides, valve pistons, ferrules, braces, leadpipes, etc.

PGYM:
Do you have personal experience with the MW 751 and the Elite V ? Enough to say that the Elite V is better?
