New Alec Wilder CD

Super excited to have received a VERY favorable review in American Records Guide for my new collaborative CD, "Alec Wilder: Four Suites."
"How do Tibbetts, tuba player Michael Forbes, and pianist Fuh fare with it [Alec Wilder's Suite No. 1]? Very well. They play with personality, heart, impulse, and humor. They sound strong and secure. Until now, the only recording of this piece that I found really enjoyable was the one on vinyl by Barrows, Phillips, and pianist Bernie Leighton. Others pale. The moment you can really tell that these players know what to do with a Wilder piece is in [Mvt.] III., where Tibbetts and Forbes manage to sound both solid and adventuresome."
