not sure what has been going on, but this has been a rather (unfortunately) popular topic over the past few months on this board.

My first thought when i am "not into teaching" is to go and find a medium where I can learn something. Whether it be take a lesson, go to a concert where they have a talk before or afterwards, find a conference/workshop, etc.. I think you get my point. I alwys find after I explore new ideas/thought I usually have a renewed esire to share that knowledge with my students.

Good Luck

Great point,Jay W.For me the best way to get excited about playing music is to learn a new piece or two.Fresh material also makes the old stuff fun to play again.Sharing new knowledge or a new tune is always exciting.
