I got my Doug Elliott custom euphonium mouthpiece in yesterday, and wow is all I can say. The sound I can produce with this sucker is incredible! I can play all the way down to double pedal Bb with ease, and all the way up to double high F, still developing my high register. The intonation is spot on, like with my custom tuba Blokepiece. I am looking forward to many hours of fun with this new mouthpiece! The great thing about Doug is he knew I was a decent tuba player, so he played off of my strengths. This should be my mouthpiece for many years. Doug is the man!
