My advice (after over 240 shows doubling in the past 11 months) is to use a smallish tuba mouthpiece and have the shank turned down so it fits in the euph!
Enjoy!

When I was playing a lot of tuba, I always did my tuba practice first. I tried to leave at least a couple of hours before picking up a smaller instrument/mouthpiece.
I would suggest a euph mouthpiece, especially on the smaller horn you have available. Something close to a Bach 4G/Schilke 52D. I am currently playing a Wick 4BS with good results. Your results may vary. Try before you buy.

If you're playing different instruments, as bloke said, you need to practise on both instruments.
My own take on this is to get a mouthpiece that works best for getting a decent sound and is comfortable.

I'm a life long tuba player. When I recently acquired a double bell, I proposed the same question to Dave Werden. He suggested a Denis Wick 4AY. It works very nicely in the horn and I have no problem going back and forth. As others have said, you have to practice on both horns. I also agree that you should practice the tuba first and then follow with the euphonium.

This is interesting. I have noticed that going from tuba to bass trombone or Euph is no problem, even for quick changes. The reverse however is problematical. I have to be very careful not to get into the wrong harmonic and even then sometimes it happens. The more time I have between small to large the easier it is. The first time I tried a quick change in the same program it was a nightmare. I always thought it was the fact that I have invested 50 years on the smaller horn as opposed to 10 on tuba. Now I may need to rethink the issue. Maybe it's just intrinsic.

I was an euphonium player only for quite some time (over 10 years).
After that, I doubled on BBb tuba for some time.
That worked fine, as long as I continued practicing both instruments.
The euphonium mouthpiece that worked best for me was the DW SM3.

Play what your face likes the best. The rest of the equation will take care of itself.
