South Texas repair tech.
I picked up a beater off of eBay that is going to need some dent work done on the bell and valve circuits, and lead pipe work . Can anyone recommend a repair technician near San Antonio?

There was a father and son outfit on Tupper that worked out of their house. Pete and Hugo Rodriguez. The father was an old man twelve years ago when I was there, he may not still be working or even with us any longer, they did good work.

Pete is still with us, although Hugo has largely taken over the business. They have a shop behind their house on Southcross, on the southside of the city. They do excellent work, indeed.jtuba wrote:There was a father and son outfit on Tupper that worked out of their house. Pete and Hugo Rodriguez. I know he's busy with school repairs, but Terry Ghiselli is in SA working at High School Music Service. He's an outstanding repair person who did nice work on my tubas when he was in the Austin area.

Glad to hear that, Pete showed me how to take apart a rotary valve years ago.TubaRay wrote:Pete is still with us, although Hugo has largely taken over the business.
