Which mouthpieces currently or previously were on the market with these qualities? Well rounded rims like the 24AW but with a wider cup diameter, e.g. around 33.25mm.

Some of the largest diameter and most rounded rim mouthpieces I've ever seen were [new, not vintage] Alexander mouthpieces. I don't know what you play or if you'd be interested in such a thing, but if you're curious give Lee Stofer a call. They have offerings that make a widely-considered-to-be-large-diameter mouthpiece like the PT-88 look like "just another mouthpiece."

And no, I didn't buy (and thus don't own) any of those Alexander mouthpieces, so please don't send me PMs or emails asking if I'll sell them.

I don't know the specs for it, and cannot find them easily, but I am fond of my LM4. This mouthpiece is no longer made, but from what I understand Dave Houser bought all of the blanks for the old style Loud Mouthpieces and now called them the Mouthpiece Ordinance.

The LM4 was the largest mouthpiece that Loud had in their old line. You could also go with a GW Bayamo or Caver, which have a rim of at least what you are looking for.

Both the GW Bayamo and Caver have rims of 33.528mm. They are essentially the same mouthpiece with the exception of the Caver having a .305mm smaller throat. It might not have the largest cup, though it is still a significant one, but I don't think the Caver would be considered to have a narrow rim.

"Narrow" refers to the dimension labelled "2" in this diagram (from wikipedia Mouthpiece (brass).

My apologies for my misunderstanding and misreading and giving rim diameters instead of the rim width. I understood the OP to be asking mainly about large rim diameters that are rounded in shape. But, upon measuring, with my wife double-checking, it looks like my LM-4 has an approx. width of 7mm, and my Bayamo, Caver, and No. 1 Semi Flat rim on my Houser Sellsmanberger Symphony two-piece at 6mm.

I do not have any fancy calipers or tools to get really specific measurements, and would love to have someone correct me if I'm wrong because I am big on knowing all of the specifics that I can.
