Does anyone know of a repair tech in FL that has a tank large enough to dip a 5/4 horn? preferable in the Jacksonville down to Orlando area?
Thanks!
Jeff

It's not within your geographic boundaries but if you're willing to drive a little further Southwest, there is a shop just West of Fort Myers called First Note Music. They once did a chemical clean on my Nirschl 6/4, they did a very good job, and the price was very reasonable. As far North as you are in Florida, you also might want to consider going to Charleston, South Carolina and visit Chris Bluemel at Instrument Doc. He's amazing. Good luck.

what sort of "chemical(s)" are used to clean a Tuba ? ...
... are they the sort of ingredients you can pick up at a hardware store, or what have you ?
