Toys on a concert

Wonderful concert tonight and tomorrow afternoon with the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra (Northfield, MN). I get to use the CC BAT on a wild contemporary work, the F on Wagner (Lohengrin) and the Cimbasso on Verdi (Aida - Ballet Music and Triumphal March.) To top it off I'll be playing Euphonium in church for the 8:30 and 10:30 services and then another run with the orchestra at 3. The chops sure do get a challenge.
Also, just bought a Dodge Grand Caravan and it is great for schlepping all the 'toys.' I can't imagine getting all of that in my old Chrysler Sebring Convertible. (Though with some imagination, giant shoe horns and opening the rag top, it has been done.) At the moment, a Jim Beam on the rocks is the prerequisite for a good nights sleep.
