I haven't tried these, but I like the idea. They're mouthpieces with trombone-sized rims, but with shallow cups and small backbores for use with trumpets. It may seem like a weird idea, but Wycliffe Gordon sure gets a nice sound on trumpet with them.

Wycliffe Gordon is Wycliffe Gordon... a unique player in the cosmos. For most (and Rudy Muck and others have tried to try this idea) this is folly, and not worthy of much consideration. For the Wycliffe Gordons of the world, the modern trumpet (mostly a modern soprano valve trombone rather than a trumpet) is an avenue to unique expression from a trombonist,l rather than a "gigging alternative."
