Has anyone used the MACK-210L tuba from Mack Brass? If so, can you tell me your experience with it so far? Any major problems with it's design?

Thanks,
Kevin N.

Buy with confidence. It's a large 4/4, probably at least a 4.5/4. Big bottom, gorgeous high register.
Happily played mine for a couple years before reluctantly letting it go to a promising high school student.

Would you say the Wisemann DTU-510 is a faithful clone of the Yamaha ybb-621??

I have the model 200 and very much like it. There is another member of the band I play in that has the 210 and he loves it. They are great horns. I agree. "buy with confidence". Both Mack Brass and Wessex stand behind their products as well.

I don't think that's what it is. But it's an outstanding four-valve 3/4 BBb tuba in its own right. Dollar for dollar, it's a better value, in my opinion. As always, YMMV.

Keep in mind the Yamaha is marketed as a pro horn, and the Wisemann is sold as an intermediate. I usually shun intermediates, but was happy to make an exception in this case.

Who is selling this horn now? I've heard good things about it. Thanks.

This horn is not listed on the Mack Brass website and it doesn't look like he has updated his arriving soon page. I'd be interested in trying one....

The new BBb design was taken from the older discontinued Yamaha 103 3 valve. We have added a 4th valve to this model and it plays great.
Thanks!!
