Baltimore Brass has a B&S "PT-4T", which is described as:
4/4 size 5V rotary tuba. .748"-.825" graduated bore. Outfitted with taller 19" bell. Lacquer finish. Includes case
Is anyone familiar with this particular tuba? Thanks!

What cktuba said. The original tall prototype PT-4 was soon changed to the squat production PT-4 we all know. We talked about it briefly in the old PT-5 thread:

If I'm not mistaken, I've played two of them. And I liked/like them a LOT. Like 103s in BBb. Great sound and power, lots of character, and the pitch is very, very manageable.

Thanks! Bigger, smaller, or about the same as a Miraphone 188?
