Hi All,

Quick question, does anyone have experience with the Bruno Tilz WH series mouthpieces and is there is a domestic company that sells them? Please tell me about your thoughts on them!

Thanks in advance.

Justin

Bruno Tilz still manufactures these mouthpieces, but they ar now being sold by http://www.agathon-music.de

I have been using a WH-B2 for B-tuba playing (Willson 3100 RZ-4, besson 994 and now Rudolf Meinl 4/4) for over 5 years, and I'm very happy with it. Very powerful, big sound. Probably not a beginner mouthpiece because of the large bore ...

Oedipoes is right as far as the production and sales are concerned.
Agathon-music is a new initiative/store of Walter Hilgers himself (scores, CD's, mouthpieces). I understand they have some starting problems, bit till now I am not happy with the services of the guy who runs the store for Hilgers.

These mouthpieces are made AND SOLD as well by Werner Chr. Schmidt of Markneukirchen. But he sells them some 50 Euro more expensive than Tilz/Hilgers....

Hi Justin,

I'm not sure if you are still looking, but I just bought a WH-B2 from Lee Stofer at a closeout price. Not sure what else he might have left, but it's worth contacting him.

I've only spent a few hours on it, but it seems like a great mouthpiece. Kind of heavy, too, but not *too* heavy and still looks like a normal mouthpiece.
