I know there has been some speculation about this horn so I thought I'd post a few pics since it passed through my hands..... Its a 4/4 CC, 17.7" bell, 35.8" length (same length as the 3450 and 2145 but with a larger bell). I put it along side a 2145 for scale and yes the 2145 will still be available. Interesting wrap on the back. It has the string pull stops, big valve set, and adjustable mouthpiece receiver like the Baer; the bows are huge and it really does pop with a lot of punch. I don't want to make comparisons but it is very interesting and will find it's own niche. Please don't ask about cost and I don't think we will see any more until October after first production run. The German team is really amazing! The R&D and quality coming out of that factory is really something special. Any other questions please pm me.

Agreed. The link above does have pictures but it would be nice to see them to scale next to each other to appreciate the differences.

Only a matter of time before we see 3225 vs 3450 vs 2145 debates.

Thanks for posting the link joh_tuba. I had problems uploading photos for some reason. I get a msg that says the board attachment quota has been reached. If you want to see some pics, pm me and leave your email.

Thanks-

Sounds cool. Hope you never need replacement parts...

Sort of reminds me of a besson 995,
I'm sure its a good horn but I can't say I'm interested in the mama bear.

Still waiting to hear back from the US guy about a longer tuning slide....... Even mentioned in my last email how Buffet was taking it on the chin in public, online discussions about parts availability. Still, we wait.
I as well am still waiting, though admittedly I have for the most part given up.
