My fourth valve sometimes makes a creaking noise when it is depressed. (yes, I know someone will say that it might need therapy/a vacation) Is my only option to replace the spring, or is there some sort of adjustment that can be done?

Make sure the spring is seated properly in the casing. Creaking spring noises are usually cause by the spring flexing into a curve and rubbing the casing. That can be caused by not sitting square in the bottom of the piston or the bottom cap, or by being bent out of alignment. A tech can straighten it if it's the latter.
