Canadian National Brass Project

I am excited to let you all know about a new symphonic brass ensemble we've recently started here in Canada. The group is comprised of members from fifteen different orchestras, and is conducted by Jamie Sommerville, principal horn of the Boston Symphony. Tubas are myself and Nick Atkinson of the National Arts Centre Orchestra, and on euphonium we have Pete Sullivan from the Pittsburgh Symphony. The rest of our membership comes from across Canada with a few returning from the US.
Our first tour in July was a huge success, and we are already planning for our future projects. Please check out our new website at http://www.canadiannationalbrassproject.com" target="_blank, where you can learn about our membership and listen to some audio recordings of the group.
Thanks,
Sasha Johnson
(BTW, for the inevitable equipment questions, the tubas used in our recordings are a B&S F, a B&S PT6, a Yamaha 822S F and a Yamaha 826S C (Yamayork).
