Interesting Tuba Photo in Scapa Flow Museum

Visiting friend in the Orkney Islands (north of Scotland), I found interesting tuba photo in the Scapa Flow museum.

For those who not know the history, at the end of World War One the German fleet was taken to Scapa Flow and in dispute about what would happen, it was all scuttled. Obviously there was bands on the capital ships, and this tuba comes from such.

Neat! My wife wants to go to the Orkney Islands. I will have to remember this!

Too bad it was not a Kaiser tuba on the German Battleship Kaiser.
