Great news.
For those of us who haven't heard it, do you know if there's a recording of "Basses to the Fore"? No luck on YouTuba..........

This is a very nice thing to be doing, both for G.H. Huffine, and his family as well.
I've got to assume he was a low brass player of some sort. And, since you say his family is involved, this would be a good opportunity to obtain some biographical information, and maybe some vintage photographs, too.
It's too bad there wasn't a little more advance notice about this event - - - I would liked to have attended it.

According to Wikipedia, Mr. Huffine started on valve trombone, then taught himself tuba, trumpet etc. :

But I guess we know what his favorite instrument was, from the marches he wrote:

I always thought he had done medical research and identified the "Huffine Mouth Disease."

The correct Cemetery where Getty Huffine is buried is:
Riverhurst Cemetery
2500 East Main Street
Endwell, NY 13760
This is located about across the street from Tony's Italian Grill in Endwell, NY. Enter the cemetery and take the first left road, following it around and down the hill. At the bottom of the hill look to your right and near the stairs will be the dedication.
