YEB-321 or Mirafone 184 measurement needed

Post by roweenie »

I'm looking for the following measurements from the bell of a Yamaha YEB-321, or a Mirafone 184:

1 - circumference of the bell where it meets the bottom bow ferrule

2 - length of the bell from said point to the bell flare (best measured with horn standing on the bell on the floor, with a level lined up even with where the bell meets the ferrule, but an accurate approximation would help, too.....)

Image

If anyone has access to one of these horns, these measurements would be greatly appreciated. ..

Thanks!

I understand that the Mirafone 184 bell dimensions are nearly identical to the YEB-321, so I'm editing my question to include that horn too.

Thanks!

From my MiraFone 24 & 5/8" ...184 CC 5v 1970
Actual bell length measured from inside the bell \T/.
12 3/16" where ferrule (top side, playing position) meets bell.
