A member of a facebook group posted today a pdf of a letter that he bought from ebay written by John Fletcher in response to a request for guidance from the parent of a tuba player that had been offered a 6 valve German f tuba

... although in Tubenet fashion, he basically replied "the one I use is the best."

When people here say that, I always imagine that they expect the person they are commenting about to say something like, "I use *this* book, but this *other* one is much better than the one I use, which is why I don't use it."
