The bit that is about the CD and not background:
"The album features some fascinating pieces, like Charles Wuorinen’s “Never Again the Same” for solo tuba and bass vocalist (who sings the words of a dystopian urban fantasy) and Mr. Rozen’s own “March for Tuba and Toy Piano.” There are fresh pieces for tuba and various instruments by Arthur Kampela (“Naked Singularity”), Daniel Plonsey and more. Not to be missed: Mr. Rozen’s arrangements of three Frank Zappa songs, including “Idiot Bastard Son.” (Anthony Tommasini)
