ewazen - concerto for tuba or bass trombone

hey guys. i was wondering if anyone knew of or has a recording of the concerto for tuba by ewazen. i just purchased it, considering it for my junior recital, but i'd like to hear what it sounds like. thanks.

I believe it's on Velvet Brown's new CD - "music for velvet" and I know it's on Joe Skillens CD " Blue Plate Special"

Also listen to Charlie Vernon with the DePaul Band. Great interpretation...and F. Cooley is on that one as well!

FYI - The Ewazen Tuba Concerto with Fritz Kaenzig has just been released on a CD titled "Collaborations" by the University of Michigan Symphony Band under the Equilibrium label.

I was in NY when the Juilliard Orchestra premiered it. Stefan won the competition to perform it, but my copy from Mr. Ewazen himself says "For the Juilliard School". I don't know if it was written for him, but I may be wrong.
