What's a Conn 22 j worth

Post by edsel585960 »

Hello tubenet brothers and sisters, People have been inquiring about buying my 22J. Really haven't thought about selling it but I thought y'all might have some ideas on its value. I don't play it much which is a shame. The serial # puts it at 1936-1937 build date. It does have some lacquer issues and some dents but nothing major. The body is stamped 22J. Bell stamped 20J. I believe the bell is of the same vintage because it has the 3 braces on the back like the older Conns. The bell looks like the #$@^ percussion section did some cymbal practice on it from the small dents on it. Plays well. Valves are in good shape. All slides pull. Good "pop" when you pull the slides. Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated. Dan http://s1029.photobucket.com/user/edsel ... t=3&page=1" target="_blank
